Carlie leverages her passion for accessible science communication in developing deliverables for Aileron’s clients to help get their message across to stakeholders.

Prior to joining Aileron, Carlie spent two years at Chicago public relations and consulting firm C-Strategies, Inc. supporting clients in government, healthcare, technology, economic development, sustainability, nonprofit, education, campaigns and more. Carlie developed communications strategies, placed op-eds, and secured high-profile media coverage of client initiatives. She also oversaw press events and assisted in crisis communications for multiple high-profile organizations experiencing leadership turnover.

Carlie earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and political science from Bryn Mawr College. She plays soccer for the semi-professional team Edgewater Castle FC based in Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood.
